Job Summary: The Director of Supply Chain will oversee and manage the entire supply chain process within the Membrane Operations team at Kovalus Separation Solutions including, Procurement, Supplier Management, Warehousing, Planning and Scheduling of Manufacturing, Inventory control and distribution of goods and services. Based in Massachusetts, this role has global implications including two manufacturing sites, global distribution, and a global supply base. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles, and ERP systems. The Director of Supply Chain will report to the Vice President of Operations, but work closely with all other departments within the organization to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals.
  • Oversee procurement, production planning, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
  • Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with global industry regulations and company policies.
  • Build, Lead, and Mentor a team of supply chain professionals.
  • Drive improvements in Supply Chain metrics and processes.
  • Analyze data, develop metrics, and report on and improve performance to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support product development and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field Required (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong demonstrated skillset in data mining and management using software such as excel, MS access, PowerBI or other.
  • Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management software, and supply chain software.

Preferred:
  • Certification in one; CSCP, CPIM, SPSM preferred.
  • Prior LEAN experience or certification desired.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
