Summary
Direct NAES Engineered Performance (EP) supply chain functions overseeing procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations in support of company's strategies and business plans. Responsible for setting a coherent vision for the company's supply chain group, strategic procurement initiatives, inventory management, order fulfillment and compliance.

The initial compensation will range from $186,000 - $214,000.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Normal working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Travel will be required to meet with suppliers and contractors. Travel may include domestic and international destinations to meet the needs of the business. Extended hours may be required during travel.

Primary Duties
Functional Leadership:
- Provide overall leadership to supply chain functions, with responsibility for:
- Establishing the supply and procurement of capital goods and inventory based on approved stocking plans, establishment of inventory management and compliance procedures, development and implementation, procurement plans and budgets
- Supply chain policies, procedures, and systems
- Staffing, training, and leadership development
- Reporting/communications with business units and senior management.
- Manage critical supplier performance issues by identifying problems/root causes and interacting with engineering and relevant business unit(s) and supplier(s).
Strategic Procurement:
- Direct, prioritize, and execute strategic procurement initiatives, e.g., strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement, to support the goals and objectives of the organization.
- Analyze and maintain relationships with critical suppliers.
- Oversee materials management including NAES and 3rd party warehousing and logistics.
- Drive team to achieve maximum value while balancing other business requirements, including quality, delivery, risk, and safety.
- Work with business units to address change management issues.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance to the laws, business guidelines, and ethical standards set by the company, local authorities, and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant SarbOx and JSox control activities.
- Administer compliance to the company's DOA (Delegation of Authority) for procurement commitments.
Procurement, Oversight and Fulfillment:
- Perform and oversee functions of procurement to meet strategic stocking plans.
- Utilize Material Resource Planning (MRP) tools to maintain defined stock quantities.
- Oversee suppliers and contractors to ensure quality and technical specifications.
- Maintain inventory visibility to Management, Finance, Business Development, and other stakeholders.
- Manage warehousing and logistics functions to meet On Time Delivery (OTD) key performance indicators as defined for the business.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure timely availability of critical components.

Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience desired (engineering field preferred); Master's degree (MBA) preferred
- Years of Experience:
- 10+ years' experience in a management role with relatable experience in supply chain management, project management, and strategic procurement.
- 10+ years' experience in the buying, selling, and transacting of capital and consumable parts for gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and other industrial rotating equipment.
- Comprehensive experience formulating and executing corporate and business unit strategies
Specific Skills and Knowledge
- Mature understanding of all aspects of supply chain value stream
- Experience with ERP systems, supply chain analytics, and digital tools.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, manage, and develop top talent within the supply chain profession
- Extensive knowledge and awareness of fluctuating market conditions and resultant impacts to equipment and commodity pricing
- Ability to utilize expert industry knowledge and advanced business models to develop optimal business relationships
- Extensive understanding of warehouse operations, policies, and procedures - including stocking, distribution, and oversight
- Excellent financial, quantitative, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; connects well with both field and management personnel
- A natural change agent possessing the strategic, analytical, and teamwork skills needed to drive major commercial decisions across a diverse set of stakeholders
- A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others
