Role Summary:
The Director of Supply Management will lead the internal SMS team in managing supplier inventories, supporting Limited-Time Offers (LTOs), and ensuring supply chain stability. This role is responsible for ensuring suppliers and distributors have the necessary information and inventory levels to meet demand, proactively identifying potential risks, and optimizing supply chain performance. The primary focus will be on SMS-driven execution, supplier coordination, and internal process improvements, while also working with the brand to convert forecasts into supplier purchase plans.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the supply management team, ensuring alignment with SMSs strategic objectives.
Oversee supply planning and execution for LTOs, ensuring proper supplier and distribution readiness.
Convert brand forecasts into supplier purchase plans to ensure appropriate inventory levels.
Monitor supplier inventories, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent shortages or overages.
Collaborate with internal SMS teams, suppliers, and distribution partners to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain execution and supplier performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for supplier planning and inventory management.
Support franchisees and field teams by resolving supply-related issues and enhancing product availability.
Ensure compliance with supplier agreements, contractual commitments, and regulatory requirements.
Utilize data analytics and supply chain technology to improve forecasting accuracy and decision-making.

Qualifications:
Experience: Proven leadership experience in supply chain management, inventory planning, or procurement, preferably in the QSR or food service industry.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on data-driven insights.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for supplier and internal team coordination.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain software, forecasting tools, and data analytics.
Leadership: Ability to manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, and distribution partners.
Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor and adjust supplier inventory levels proactively.
Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for supplier visits, field support, and industry meetings.
