Job Title: Director, Talent Development, Americas

Reports to: Senior Director, Talent Development, Americas JOB PURPOSE:

Based in our New York City office, Director, Talent Development will play a key part in helping support the business evolution with the right skill-based organization anticipating future needs and succession planning.

They are a hands-on leader overseeing the day-to-day execution of all programming. They will have an expertise in corporate learning and development touching all levels and positions. They will have strong, instructional design, advising, facilitating, and delivering development solutions to leaders partnering and collaborating strongly with the Americas HR teams and cross functional partners. They must be able to think strategically, have strong leadership presence with the ability influence senior management as well as engaging with all levels of the organization.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate Leadership Development
  • In partnership with Dir, TD build corporate professional development strategy to create learning solutions that address the needs of all functions of the organization.
  • Support in defining corporate development needs / requirements at all levels, identifying gaps and opportunities to help shape the Dior learning strategy that supports and advances the employee professional journey (focus on people management and early career professionals).
  • Act as a strong thought-leader and subject matter expert on corporate learning and development based on departmental needs and request.
  • Follow up and monitor the efficiency of training impact and ROI resulting in action plans and next steps and recommendation for improvements.
  • Continuously assess and re-assess individual, team, and organizational needs, relating back to business context to identify short, medium, and long-term priorities for leadership and non- leadership development.
  • Ability to scale learning offerings within budget, time frame and regular
  • With Dir, TD design customized team building and group leadership development experiences to drive team effectiveness and developing key competencies.
  • Facilitate professional development training
  • Lead on Performance Management training tool and key

Retail Leadership Development
  • Support Dir, TD in retail development and facilitation.
  • Follow up and monitor the efficiency of training impact and ROI resulting in action plans and next steps and recommendation for improvements.
  • Oversee existing Retail Development programming finds ways to improve and elevate
  • Collaborate with Regional VPs, HRBPs on programs to meet the needs of the business with a focus on creating highly effective and engaging learning experiences including face-to-face and digitally.
  • Create all collateral for programs to include visuals, activities, participant materials, leader's guides, discussion guides, etc.

Yearly Processes
  • Meet with Comex to gather development needs for their teams, guide and recommend learning offerings and development plans
  • Lead and facilitate annual appraisal process
  • In partnership with the HRBP, co-lead organizational management review process
  • Co-facilitate bi-yearly induction program
  • Host quarterly info sessions on development tools
  • Manage budget, cost and spend
  • Lead career conversation with retail and corporate talents
  • Explore and source external learning
  • Establish meaningful methods and metrics and monitor program impacts
  • Measure the impact of all existing programs to determine prioritization for annual Determine the right metrics for ongoing assessment and decision-making
  • Measure interest by region/function to determine spend and deployment

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Minimum 5-9 years professional experience; in corporate and leadership development
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, )
  • Excellent communication, leadership, facilitation, collaboration, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to drive solutions and drive results
  • Strong project management leading various
  • Additional administrative responsibilities as needed including but not limited to: presentation and/or training documentation preparation, onsite training venues with logistics coordination, budget creation.

The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $150,000 - $165,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate's relevant skills and experience.
