The Director of Technology Program Management will serve as the critical link between our technology delivery teams, business leadership, and executive team. This strategic leadership role will oversee our technology programs, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive successful delivery of technology initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will excel at translating technical progress into business impact while managing relationships with senior stakeholders. Most importantly, they will be a masterful storyteller who can transform complex technical details and interdependencies into compelling narratives and clear visualizations that effectively communicate organizational progress to diverse stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:
Program & Project Oversight
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive program management framework to track all technology initiatives
- Develop standardized reporting methodologies across delivery teams to ensure consistent visibility
- Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, resource conflicts, and timeline challenges
- Implement governance processes that balance agility with appropriate controls
- Lead program reviews to ensure strategic alignment and value delivery
Executive Stakeholder Management
- Build and nurture relationships with key business stakeholders, including ELT and BU owners
- Translate complex technical initiatives into clear business value propositions
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and updates
- Facilitate decision-making processes around investment priorities and resource allocation
- Ensure bidirectional communication between technology teams and business stakeholders
Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Create and distribute comprehensive stakeholder management reporting
- Track and report on key success metrics across the technology programs, including initiative ROI and business impact
- Maintain strategic investment roadmaps aligned with defined business strategies
- Lead the technology investment planning process in partnership with Finance
Risk Management
- Proactively identify potential risks across the technology programs
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with delivery teams, leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Establish escalation paths for critical issues requiring leadership attention
- Create transparency around project challenges while fostering action-oriented culture with solution-oriented approaches
Qualifications:
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in technology program management or relevant roles
- 5+ years in leadership positions with demonstrated success managing complex programs
- Proven track record of effective executive stakeholder management
- Experience working directly with C-level executives and business unit leaders
- Proven success in both vertically integrated and shared services business models
- Strong understanding of technology delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
Preferred Experience
- MBA or advanced degree in relevant field
- PMP, ITIL, and/or Agile certifications and/or relevant equivalent experience
- Experience with enterprise program management tools
- Prior experience reporting to a CTO or similar executive role
