THE WORK
As the General Manager & Director of the Aerostructures Product Center in Troy, Alabama, you'll oversee all operational functions for the site-ensuring excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). Your leadership will directly impact the successful production of critical components and assemblies including:
MH-60R and MH-60T sub/major assemblies and MH-60R initial final assembly
HH-60W tailcone and cockpit fit-out
Your scope includes full lifecycle oversight-from production planning through execution for platforms primarily within the Maritime & Mission Systems (MMS) Market Segment. You'll lead a team of over 440 employees (29 salaried and 412+ hourly), including Manufacturing and Production Control personnel, while also managing matrixed collaboration with teams from Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, ESH, and Finance.

Basic Qualifications
15+ years of Manufacturing/Operations Experience
Exposure working within a Bargaining Unit environment
Previous experience leading a large, cross-functional organization
Desired skills
Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Programs and Capture/proposal experience all strongly preferred
Previous Sikorsky operations experience
Previous aerospace experience

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $180,000 - $287,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
