Description:
The Workday Administrator utilizes the required configuration and analyzed business requirements to drive design and implementation. Develops business strategies, provides system administration and maintenance, and troubleshoots issues. Partners with primary department stakeholders in Finance and Human Resources and third party Workday specialists to ensure efficient systems operations and to implement system enhancements such as integrations, additional functionality, and go-live with international subsidiaries.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops and drives Workday systems strategy to support business operations.
- Implements systems upgrades provided by vendor, provides user training, and communicates changes in functionality.
- Partners with functional area subject matter experts and other stakeholders, as needed, to configure, test, and implement efficient solutions.
- Consults with corporate and operations personnel, as well as outside vendors, in identification of needs for automation and supports building effective solutions.
- Provides subject matter expertise for system capabilities. Assist and represent HR and Finance with design and modification efforts. Works with outside consultants and internal IT staff to implement changes as required.
- Liaises with business stakeholders and resolves system related issues.
- Revises and executes production schedules for routine and specific report requests and turnaround documents, and prepares ad hoc reports as requested.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Develops and maintains up-to-date online users manual and job aids, and distributes to appropriate personnel.
- Assists functional users with data entry activities, and advises of errors.
- Follows defined IT service management processes and ensures compliance to the process.
- Ensures all configurations in Workday are based on requirements from the business and assists testers in complete testing of the Workday system.
- Performs Workday administrative functions including security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, and integrations support.
- Reviews table information to ensure data integrity.
- Administers systems security ensuring users are granted only access for which they have been approved.
- Trains new functional users in the use of different modules as well as reporting tools. Coordinates with all stakeholders to ensure appropriate change communications.
- Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts. Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies.
- Supports creation and revision maintenance of all SOPs related to the different modules within Workday.
- Performs regular system audits to review accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Utilizes effective interpersonal skills when working with various internal clients and peers to accomplish project and operational goals.
- Assures quality customer service to all customers.
- Adheres to the absence policy, as outlined by management.
- Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience working in the different modules of Workday and knowledge of configuring Workday for HCM, FDM, & Payroll modules.
- Expert level in at least one module and working knowledge of other modules with a Workday Certification in at least one module.
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR/SHRM-CP, SPHR/SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Media & Entertainment related work experience preferred.
- Multi-site/state experience preferred.
