Job Overview: The Distribution Sales Manager, based in Lincoln, NE, plays a crucial role within our clients' international biotech company by managing the Environmental Indirect Distribution Channel. This position is key to ensuring strong financial performance, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and developing strategies to maximize market coverage in regions without direct sales presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Channel Strategy and Management: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for maximizing coverage and ensuring strong financial performance.
  • Partner Development: Select, train, and develop channel partners to execute strategies effectively.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and review KPIs to predict the accomplishment of sales objectives.
  • Sales Forecasting: Generate accurate weekly sales forecasts and maintain a shared sales funnel with partners.
  • Distributor and Customer Engagement: Organize visits and support activities to enhance partner performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements include:
  • Education: BS in environmental, agricultural, biological, earth sciences, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years in sales/sales management of environmental or life science products and managing indirect distribution channels.
  • Skills: Proficiency in sales management, business relationship management, and market analysis. Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge: Essential knowledge of LI-COR Environmental instruments, with training provided as necessary.
  • Key Competencies: Analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, high curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Additional Information: This role is based in Lincoln, NE, and requires significant international travel. Proficiency in a second language is an asset.
