Branch Location: Calgary North

During a typical day, you will:

As a District Manager, reporting to the Regional Vice President, you will oversee multiple retail store locations within your district, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional customer experiences.

Main Responsibilities
  • Drive district profitability by leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of Branch Managers to achieve their goals.
  • Monitor sales and profitability performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
  • Analyze financial data and implement strategies to enhance performance.
  • Recruit, train, retain, and develop talent within the district.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and excellence in customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee debt management activities to collect on past due accounts.
  • Manage district-level budgets and resources.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure proper allocation of resources.
  • Identify and address operational inefficiencies, implementing process improvements as needed.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.
  • Plan and execute district-level events and activities to enhance employee and customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular district meetings to communicate updates, goals, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments, implementing relevant strategies within the district.
  • Represent the company in community events, networking opportunities, and industry conferences.

Successful candidates will have:
  • 3-5 years of managerial experience in a multi-unit retail environment
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer-facing targeted sales environment in financial services, ideally consumer lending.
  • A bachelor's degree or a relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license required, along with a reliable vehicle and current/valid vehicle insurance.
