Description:
PrimeSource Building Products, one of the nation's largest distributors of building materials, has an immediate opportunity available for an experienced District Sales Manager. The District Sales Manager is responsible for supervising Territory Managers and Inside Sales Representatives within their assigned region and achieving sales objectives for that region.

Responsibilities:
- Hires, develops, and coaches all Sales Representatives in their sales territory to achieve their highest potential.
- Works with Representatives regularly to formulate, monitor and improve selling plans and all sales-related activities. Consistently meet all growth and profitability goals for sales team.
- Recommends new product ideas and innovative sales approaches that would increase profitable sales.
- Monitors and reviews all sales reports on a regular basis to meet and exceed all sales and profit budgets.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University
- 5 years of related experience managing sales teams.
- Experience in an individual contributor outside sales role in the building products industry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and problem- solving abilities.
- Ability to motivate employees through positive reinforcement and establishing accountability.
- Mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, percentages, etc.
- Strong forecasting and planning skills.
- PrimeSource sales process knowledge.
- Strong level of Microsoft Office skills.
