Finance liaison to the Commercial Division, supporting business line leaders with financial planning, reporting and analysis of performance.
Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
- Support Commercial budget development and monitoring to ensure adherence to financial targets
- Participate in development of annual strategic plan
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to Commercial management identifying trends and variances thereby improving insight for management
- Partner with Accounting on monthly internal financial review and close providing insight to division growth, revenue and expense
- Conduct regular financial forecasting and modeling
- Ensure accurate, timely and consistent management reporting
- Work with business line leaders on pricing, modeling new products & services
- Support and help drive profitable growth
Skills and Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in financial management, budgeting and analysis
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of banking industry practices
Skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledgeable in financial software and systems including Axiom, Microsoft Office, Oracle, Power BI, Salesforce
Certifications
- CPA or other relevant financial certifications are beneficial
