Description:

As a Document Control Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of a consistent and standardized approach to the control and management of critical documents and records across all Operational Areas - Sales & Marketing, Products & Terminals, Saint John Refinery & Whitegate Refinery. You will be leading the Document Control team which collaborates with stakeholders across the organization in the identification, control and management of critical content, documents and records.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Document Control Team to achieve team objectives and organizational goals.
  • Participate in annual goal setting with team by aligning to organization objectives
  • Implement and maintain well defined document control processes, procedures and programs that ensure critical documents are accessible, accurate and controlled
  • Complete annual audit and reporting of existing processes, programs and controls to ensure critical content, documents and information is accurate and accessible
  • Establish reporting that provides performance metrics, program performance and the level of penetration of Document Control programs
  • Develop and maintain Document Control Standard and Procedures, including establishing a regular review cycle
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders in Operating Areas and Corporate Groups
  • Interact and work with contractors/external vendors
  • Responsible for the training of document control processes and programs to enhance awareness and understanding for stakeholders
  • Establish mentoring and training to improve team effectiveness and skills
  • Performance management activities


Your Skills:

Your Experience:
  • Post-secondary education in Business or 5 years of related experience required
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in records management
  • 5 - 10 years of management experience
