Description:
Defense Acquisition Support Services (DAS) is seeking a skilled finance/budget analyst to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support mission-critical operations while working with a collaborative and dynamic team. Key Responsibilities * Develop and manage Functional Support Agreements (FSAs) in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational and customer requirements. * Review and process MIPRs to support reimbursable funding actions. * Develop and manage support agreements (7600s) in coordination with the PEO community. * Ensure compliance with financial regulations for reimbursable funding transactions. * Serve as the primary point of contact for FSA-related inquiries, facilitating communication between functional areas, leadership, and external customers. * Analyze and interpret support requirements, costs, and deliverables to develop FSAs that align with budget constraints and mission objectives. * Conduct regular reviews of existing FSAs to identify gaps, improve efficiencies, and ensure performance metrics are met. * Provide guidance on policy implementation, contract management, and sustainment planning. * Support audits, reviews, and inspections by preparing required documentation and providing detailed briefings as needed. Minimum Requirements * Active Secret Clearance * Bachelor's degree in a related field. (4 additional years experience may substitute) * 3+ years of experience in DoD budget or finance. * Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant logistics or contract management software. Desired Qualifications and Experience * Prior military officer experience or equivalent DoD experience. * Demonstrated expertise in support agreement negotiation and sustainment planning for large-scale defense programs. * Experience briefing senior leadership and preparing policy-compliant documentation.
