Dover-Sherborn Regional Middle School Assistant Principal

Dover-Sherborn Public Schools seeks an innovative instructional leader committed to academic excellence, educational equity, and the social-emotional wellness of students and staff for the 2025-26 School Year. Responsibilities -Assist the Principal with the coordination of the entire school program. -Collaborate with curriculum leaders, team leaders, and teachers to design, implement, and assess effective curriculum strategies that align with educational standards and the unique needs of middle school students. -Support the School's Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) -Work closely with educators and students to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. -Oversee the student discipline process, conduct investigations, and reinforce the school's Restorative Practices. -Foster open and effective communication with parents regarding curriculum, student progress, and school initiatives. -Organize and participate in community events to build strong partnerships between the school and the community. -Conduct regular classroom observations with a keen focus on the implementation of instructional strategies to engage all students and promote deeper learning. -Develop the school-wide instructional schedule and coordinate MCAS testing. -Participate in the district-wide leadership team. -Other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal. -204 day contract Please direct any questions to: Denny Conklin Assistant Superintendent, Dover-Sherborn Public Schools conklind@doversherborn.org
