This role involves hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, cross-drain design, stormwater management facilities, and floodplain compensation analysis. You'll play a critical role in developing drainage solutions, mentoring junior staff, and building client relationships in the dynamic Tampa and Orlando regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis.
- Design cross-drains, stormwater management facilities, and best management practices for erosion control.
- Prepare drainage reports, technical documents, and permitting documents.
- Serve as Drainage Engineer of Record, ensuring FDOT standards are met.
- Conduct field reviews and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in land development or FDOT drainage design.
- Registered PE (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and FDOT design software.
- Knowledge of StormWise (ICPR4) hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
