Position Summary
Must live/work in the Middle East is required. A minimum 2-year international sales contract is required. The territory is established. There will be a 1-3 month in field-training program. The qualified candidate will have a good understanding of the water treatment/desalination and marine markets, have clarity on their sales objectives and apply knowledge of products, leverage technology differentiation, and their sales skills to assess the customer's needs and help close business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform sales work, inside and outside by calling on customers such as Service Companies, OEM's, Marine service providers, A&E firms and other solution providers, build relationships with key decision makers and engineering personnel to convince prospective client of applicability, desirability and practicability of the products or services offered. Assist customers in the design of the correct product configuration for their specific application and provide technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment, motors, etc. Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends, competitive products and technical developments that effect target markets. Provide sales support and demonstration expertise at Trade Shows. Develop and deliver technical sales presentations in a professional and effective manner. Assist in development of sales campaigns, advertisements, and product manuals. Regularly communicate sales plans, projects, and results to management. Consistently deliver on plan, forecast and other business objectives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Training:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field. Prior sales experience in rotating equipment-i.e. pumps and valves and/or familiarity with the industry are required.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be experienced in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Processing software.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret drawings and documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and technical product manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively and make presentations before groups of customers or employees of organization.
