Salary: $101, 735.00-$115, 094.00 annually-Salary commensurate with experience.

Position Summary

The Manager of Quality and Decision Support (MQDS) is accountable for internal and external service reporting, client survey processes, data analysis, and project management, as well as quality improvement, policy management, accreditation coordination, privacy practices and reporting, client advocacy, and systems leadership. This position also manages the Decision Support Analyst and a team of Program Assistants.

Position Details
  • Manage a reporting support system for strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and complete statistical reporting for funders (Ministry, Grant, etc.).
  • Oversee regular fee-for-service reporting and participate in regular meetings to monitor fee-for-service performance.
  • Administration and management of the client information system, including process development, quick reference sheets, and training.
  • Develop and update Maltby's scorecard results related to the strategic plan.
  • Recommend and monitor quality initiatives across the organization.
  • Co-chair the Maltby Centre Quality Committee and act as a staff resource to the Board of Directors Quality Committee, including preparing and presenting briefing notes.
  • Develop and maintain a quality improvement plan for the agency.
  • Champion health record practices and ensure compliance with privacy legislation.
  • Lead privacy practices, develop policies and procedures, and conduct audits.
  • Responsible for breach management and reporting.
  • Manage the development, implementation, and review of all policies within the agency.
  • Work with clients and families to resolve conflicts or concerns.
  • In alignment with the Director of Clinical Programs and Services, provide coordination and leadership for the Roadmap to Wellness.
  • Support grant applications as applicable.
  • Lead the accreditation process, organize evidence, and schedule visits (Next site visit 2027).
  • Education of working groups and committees, as well as prepare briefing documents and evaluation reports.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to staff.
  • Schedule program assistants, ensure adequate staff coverage and convene regular team meetings.
  • Address health and safety issues and collaborate on risk management.
  • Represent the Agency at Provincial committees and community planning tables.

Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in public health or Master's degree in relevant field of study.
  • Experience: Five years in quality improvement, reporting systems and performance measurement, including at least two years in supervisory roles, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Certifications: First Aid, CPR, Non-violent Crisis Intervention, Joint Health and Safety Committee, Lean certification, and formal training in privacy of personal health information (all assets).
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office, statistical and reporting databases, excellent customer service, facilitation, negotiation, coaching, and project management skills.
  • Language: French language proficiency, written and verbal, an asset.
