Position Overview:
The Plant Manager is responsible for the vision, strategy and leadership which drives the housing component plant to achieve and maintain high standards of quality, cost efficiency, productivity, safety, customer satisfaction, and deliveries. These manufacturing strategies must support the company's overall business strategy with a continuous improvement focus while assuring a zero-harm workplace.

Reporting Relationships:
- Reports to VP of Manufacturing
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the plant P&L statements/financials.
- Lead direct reports in the daily operation of a manufacturing facility - focused on quality, cost, delivery, and safe production of manufactured components.
- Oversee and give guidance to purchasing department to ensure that material used in the manufacturing process meets industry specifications, is delivered on time, and at the lowest possible cost.
- Manages the production and delivery schedule to meet customer demands while utilizing plant capacity efficiently.
- Prepare monthly and annual forecast for financial planning for the facility.
- Develop and implement long term strategic plan to support increased product demand from Maronda Divisions.
Education and/or Knowledge:
- BS degree in Industrial or Mfg. Engineering, Industrial Management, or related technical/ business degree or at least 7 yrs. experience in lean manufacturing.
- Knowledge and experience in Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing.
Desired Experience:
- Plant management experience in leading and managing operational teams (Required).
- Financial experience with P&L statements, developing budgets and managing financial performance (Required).
- 10 years of foundational manufacturing experience with significant roles in manufacturing disciplines including mfg. engineering, continuous improvement, materials management, and production management (Preferred).
- Experience with housing component manufacturing a plus. (Preferred)

- Environment: Homebuilding material plant environment and office environment; exposure to noise, dust, and inclement weather conditions; work with variety of materials.
