Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in ECHO Fab. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including LPCVD, etch, photolithography, and metrology tools. The ideal candidate possesses strong troubleshooting abilities, a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on semiconductor processing equipment according to documented procedures and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes.
  • Replace faulty components, calibrate equipment, and perform system upgrades as needed.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and process teams to resolve equipment issues and optimize tool performance.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and cleanroom practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with various hand and power tools.
  • Familiarity with a variety of semiconductor equipment types, including LPCVD, etch, photolithography, and metrology tools (e.g., ASM LPCVD, Ultratech Steppers, Tel Coaters, Disco Grinders, SEZ Etchers).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex equipment problems and implement effective solutions.
  • AA Technical Degree in Electronics, Mechanics, or a related field, or equivalent military training in relevant areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
