Job Title:
  • E-Commerce Manager
  • The position can be based in either Cincinnati or Solon, OH, Offices.


Reports to:
  • Vice-President, Sales and Marketing


Job Summary:

The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for offering unmatched customer service across all e-commerce platforms. This includes developing and implementing marketing strategies for effective eCommerce development and management, which will also be your responsibility. Coordinating with our marketing team and partners, directing online marketing activities using effective SEO/SEM techniques, and implementing measures to increase user engagement and online sales.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Implement business strategies that align with the company's mission and vision.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to set and achieve short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Utilize marketing campaigns, e-commerce, site visits, and other techniques to continuously seek out new business
  • Lead, manage, and hold others on the E-Commerce team accountable.
  • Identify and document new web requirements and enhancements to serve new purposes, improve the design, and facilitate user experience
  • Provide insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps
  • Collaborate with web designers as well as graphic designers for all marketing assets
  • Content Management: create and update product descriptions, images, and content to ensure a seamless and attractive shopping experience
  • Conduct thorough research about new developments in the eCommerce sector
  • Coordinate with and keep the senior management team abreast of all operations
  • Develop marketing strategies and review sales performance on a timely basis
  • Use effective SEO/SEM techniques to maximize search engine traffic
  • Undertaking quality assurance checks
  • Review any legal eCommerce marketing procedures and ensure that all ADA compliance is met and upheld
  • Create performance reports on a monthly basis
  • Conduct weekly and monthly reviews of KPIs and digital marketing initiatives. Report findings to the team with plans on where we go next
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Qualifications & Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience with Big Commerce, Quote Ninja, and ShipperHQ.
  • Possess a solid understanding of e-commerce frameworks.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, including a proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a strong customer orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders.
