As an eDiscovery Operations Engineer at XDD, your focus is on the support of the operational teams to accomplish client needs. Via leadership from the Lead Operations Engineers and directors, the eDiscovery Operations Engineer supports the day to day needs of XDD's clients.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Understanding review databases, data processing and data load, how to setup and manage exports of data, running productions.
- Knowledge of load files and export formats also important to the role.
- Load/export data to/from Relativity, Eclipse, ViewPoint, etc.
- Audit data prior to load/process.
- Day to day process of data loading, and conversion within and outside Relativity.
- Audit data prior to load/process.
- Analyze metadata load files to ensure the fields meet client specifications,
- Analyze metadata to identify discrepancies between work order instructions to client provided specifications.
- Coordinate with project management team to resolve any discrepancies
- Support team of almost 100 in processing and work on operations to get the job done - PM's provide the communication and direction 100% focused on Relativity work
- Shared email, PM system and resources, no single point of contact. Entire team works to push clients forward
- Standard work-day 40 - 45 hour work week, shifted schedules ranging from 6:00 A.M. - 12 A.M CST - overnight support is staffed
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business preferred
- 2 to 3 years of Litigation Support/Project Management experience in a law firm and/or with an eDiscovery service provider required
- Extensive knowledge of litigation support software including but not limited to Relativity, eCapture, Eclipse, ViewPoint, Concordance, Summation, IPro, and Ringtail.
- Knowledge of dtSearch preferred
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment
- English fluency required.
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- Direct work experience in project management capacity
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management
