Education Specialist (Special Education Liaison
Assist LEAs with the collaboration of general and special education programs and services to ensure the achievement of students with disabilities. This position will also implement initiatives, provide professional development and support, analyze data, and manage projects that have potential in the field for immediate impact for both educators and students with disabilities. Position requires the following knowledge and skills:
-Ability to plan, implement, and follow up on staff development and training.
-Knowledge and skills for providing coordinated assistance in the assigned area.
-Knowledge of instructional processes and strategies used with struggling learners in LEAs.
-Ability to demonstrate strong leadership capacity.
-Strong program development and project management skills in special education and general education as an educator and/or administrator with quantifiable and clear results for student achievement.

Education qualifications:
- Valid Texas teaching certificate including special education required
- Master's degree in Special Education preferred
