The EF Sales Manager is responsible for developing strategies to increase revenue, establishing relationships with key business partners, identifying business opportunities, and coordinating the work of the USA and Canada EF Sales people in supporting our customers in the Nonwovens, Building Products, and Corrugator business segments.

Responsibilities and essential job functions
  • Set direction and expectations for EF Sales positions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Applications, Product Engineering, R&D) to ensure customer satisfaction, drive sales growth, and develop new products.
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions, and identify new market trends, technologies, and shifts in the business landscape.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Run weekly EF Sales meetings to keep the Americas EF Sales, Product Management, and Applications informed of Safety, Production, and other topics pertinent to the field-based personnel.
  • Establish strategies and business growth targets for the EF Salespeople.
  • Provide input to forecasting and price changes in the Building Products, Nonwovens, and Corrugators product groups.
  • Support EF Product Managers to negotiate and close contracts and purchasing agreements with key EF customer corporations (excluding Fiber Cement)
  • Maintain personal sales responsibility for customer accounts not assigned to EF Salespeople due to geographical or other reasons.

Essential Skills:
  • Manufacturing experience or Sales/Service experience.
  • Ability to evaluate and support the paper manufacturing process.
  • The position will require use of some or all of Fiber Scan Gauge, Press Tuner, Perm Tester, Thermography, and related dryer equipment to support PMC and evaluate paper machine problems.
  • Knowledge of paper machine clothing-Forming, Pressing, Drying
  • Service / Sales skills
  • Understanding of mill operations
  • Strong computer skills, Excel, experience with or ability to learn MiniTab statistical analysis software
  • Value Documentation skills-the ability to document the impact of PMC to the mill process
  • Travel will be determined by location of the individual to support the primary mills and accounts. Travel is estimated at 4-10 nights per month.
  • Leadership skills and desire to lead a team or a product category


Non-Essential Skills:
  • Bachelors in Engineering or Bachelors in Paper Science (preferred)
  • Knowledge of pulp/paper manufacturing (preferred)
