Position Overview
The purpose of this position is to identify, evaluate, analyze, and recommend changes in support of the Stockell Insight CS Hospital system, Picis ED PulseCheck, and other systems critical to the clinical operations, including ongoing production maintenance and troubleshooting. The Clinical Systems Analyst will support the planning, design, development, build and/or configuration of supported applications/systems. Assists with conversions, application/system testing and documentation of system procedures. Provides facility go-live support, and serves as point of contact for on-going production maintenance/support and troubleshooting. Participates in on-call/after-hours support as needed.

Essential Job Functions
- Provides clinical system orientation training to physician, clinical and operational staff
- Recognizes and Identifies ongoing educational needs and creates module based training as necessary
- Serves as mentor and resource to defined facility based super users in development of their skill sets and clinical application knowledge base
- Clinical System build, maintenance and support
- Acts as the liaison between Clinical Staff, Business and Systems Analysts, Developers and project management groups
- Presents and evaluates design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution
- Defines, uses and communicates design patterns and best practices in service oriented analysis, design and development
- Plans and manages assignments of varying scope
- Provides a broad business approach to solutions based on existing environment and emerging industry trends
- Travel up to 50% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position required.

- Provides clinical applications demonstration and presentations to leadership and staff
- Participates in requirements-gathering, service-oriented modeling, analysis and design activities
- Acts as the liaison between Clinical Staff, Business and Systems Analysts, Developers and project management groups
- Presents and evaluates design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution
- Defines, uses and communicates design patterns and best practices in service oriented analysis, design and development
- Plans and manages assignments of varying scope
- Provides a broad business approach to solutions based on existing environment and emerging industry trends
- Serves as a resource to senior leadership
- Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
- Ability to work off-hours and on call when required
- Travel to all facility locations as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree, preferred
- Working knowledge of Emergency Department and/or Inpatient operations, preferred
- 2+ years clinical analyst experience, required
- Experience participating in clinical system installation projects including designing, building, testing and conversion, required
- Experience Developing, coordinating and implementing system changes and upgrades, required
- System integration knowledge, required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), required
- Direct experience with Epic Systems, preferred
- Direct experience with an Emergency Department Information System software, preferred
- Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication
