EHS Engineer

Location: Phoenix,Arizona

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000

Swoon is actively seeking a EHS Engineer to join their growing team!

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Conduct comprehensive worksite evaluations to identify potential health hazards, including exposure to chemicals, noise, and other environmental factors.
• Develop and implement control measures to minimize or eliminate identified risks.
• Perform air sampling, noise monitoring, and other specialized tests to assess exposure levels.
• Analyze data and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management, employees, and other safety professionals to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• Assist with permitting, ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations, and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees about industrial hygiene principles and safe work practices.

What's required?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (e.g., Public Health, Occupational Safety) is required.
• 2-10 years of experience in Environmental Safety in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to identify, assess, and control workplace hazards with a focus on industrial hygiene.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
