EHS Manager

EHS Manager - Chemical Manufacturing Facility - 10 miles East of Easton, PA on NJ border

We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee and lead environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs within a chemical manufacturing site. The role involves driving continuous improvement in safety, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of sustainability and safety at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of EHS programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Drive safety culture initiatives, implementing policies, training, and safety systems to reduce hazards and improve employee safety.
  • Oversee environmental performance, ensuring the facility complies with sustainability goals and environmental laws (air, water, land).
  • Manage EHS compliance software and track/report performance metrics.
  • Provide oversight and coordination of site EHS activities, including audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate EHS principles into capital projects and day-to-day activities.
  • Manage and develop direct reports, EHS consultants, and contractors.
  • Drive Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance and hazardous waste management.
  • Stay current with EHS regulations and ensure appropriate actions are taken in response to changes.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field.
  • 6+ years of experience in EHS or related fields, with 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Previous experience in chemical manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management and industrial hygiene.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS software.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • CSP certification is a plus.
