In this role, you will directly contribute to the efficiency, sustainability, and quality of modern home construction by leading the development of MEP design and building models. Working in partnership with our Fabrication, Logistics, and Building & Integration teams, the successful candidate will develop, implement, and continuously enhance programs within our EHS Management System framework.
A critical responsibility will be ensuring the organization maintains compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
- This role offers the opportunity for growth in technical and professional skill sets
- They will use human and organizational principles to drive ownership of safety, health, and environmental impacts, with a focus on engagement, learning from events, and a systems-level problem-solving
- The candidate will develop, implement, and continuously improve programs within the EHS Management System framework in partnership with Fabrication, Logistics, and Building & Integration teams
- They will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Actively work as a key Management of Change stakeholder on behalf of the Veev EHS team to ensure that Production and Factory changes result in improved controls of risks to health, safety and the environment
- Partner with Facilities, HR, Learning & Development, IT, and Finance functions to address needs unique to manufacturing operations
- Analyze incident trends and use risk-assessment methods to identify continuous improvement projects that reduce injury, illness and environmental impact events
- Facilitate incident investigations from a Learning Teams approach, ensuring that preventative actions address system causes and not just individual behaviors
- Assist with Building and Integration EHS oversight, participating in safety prequalification questionnaires for contractors, job hazard analyses, toolbox talks, and verification of controls/safeguards before starting work
- Develop new procedures, inspections, training, or reports as needed
- Implement and support EHS KPI compliance throughout areas of ownership
- Create and lead the Safety Committee with Production, Logistics, and Building&Integration teams
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Studies, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years work experience as an environmental, health or safety professional, preferably in a manufacturing, oil & gas, construction, or similar workplace
- Developing hands-on experience with lockout/tagout procedures, chemical management safety, construction safety, electrical safety, confined space, NFPA and OSHA requirements, incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action management
- Developing customer service skills
- Developing proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Work, Power Point, Project, etc.) or Google Suite
