EHS Training and Development Manager

Description:
The EHS Training and Development Manager will identify and monitor training needs for the Strata EHS Training Program and design, plan, and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment through targeted and effective learning platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews existing training programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement,
learning, and retention and/or meet the changing needs of the organization
Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive support for all EHS Training
Ensures that all EHS training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective
Develop and manage curriculums (both structure and content) for all EHS related training
Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training
Develops effective content based on the delivery method (eLearning, instructor-led, ad-hoc, webinars)
Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the
Strata EHS Training Program and/or the Solar industry
Collaborates with Strata IT, Marketing, and Operational teams regarding content development
Supports all EHS operations and project teams by providing relevant and prioritized training tools
Creates and communicates EHS training reports based on established metrics
Coach, mentor, and guide the EHS training team
Monitors and evaluates training program's effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and develops reports
Monitors and evaluates existing activities and establish systems to track impact over time
Up to 50% travel requirements
Performs other related duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline (suitable experience can be considered
in lieu of degree)
BCSP CSP, CHST, CIT certification, or similar
Minimum 10 years of direct safety and health experience, and training, including 4 years of management level
safety professional experience
Proven experience in managing, developing, and setting up projects related to training programs and education
environments
Broad occupational safety, health and experience, and familiarization with environmental regulations Proficiency
with Microsoft Office, familiarity with Safety Management Software and Learning Management Software
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment and in the field on sites.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist and lift 20 pounds.
