We're seeking a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer to develop and optimize PCB designs, embedded firmware, and low-power battery systems.

We're seeking a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer to develop and optimize PCB designs, embedded firmware, and low-power battery systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop PCB layouts using OrCAD and related CAD tools, ensuring optimal performance and manufacturability.
- Develop embedded firmware for low-level applications using C/C++, with a focus on bare metal programming.
- Conduct circuit design and schematic capture, focusing on low-power battery systems and communication protocols.
- Implement version control practices to maintain firmware and hardware revisions effectively.
- Integrate communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART) within embedded systems.
- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and validation of PCB assemblies and embedded firmware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize hardware-software integration.
- Document designs, revisions, and test results for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in PCB design, embedded firmware development, and circuit design.
- Proficiency in OrCAD for PCB layout and schematic capture.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, with experience in bare metal development.
- Experience designing low-power battery systems for portable or remote devices.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) for project management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex systems.
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities, with a focus on collaboration.
