Electrical Design Engineer

Clayton Services is searching for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a thriving company in North Houston.

Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $80,000 - $100,000/annually

Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design and draft electrical schematics, electrical back plate vinyl, and operator vinyl for HVACR manufacturing projects
• Design electrical aspects of HVACR units
• Assist with testing and troubleshooting new HVACR units
• Research, develop, and design new electrical systems for HVACR projects
• Provide engineering support throughout the manufacturing process
• Design and test prototypes
• Document schematics, specifications, and diagrams
• Complete reports
• Other duties as assigned

Electrical Design Engineer Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work successfully on multiple projects simultaneously
• AutoCAD proficiency

Electrical Design Engineer Education and Experience:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required
• A minimum of five years of relevant electrical engineering work experience is required
