Your tasks

  • Gather software requirements, design, develop, integrate, validate, and test OEM (Stellantis, Ford and Nissan) passenger vehicle embedded Power Liftgate Module (PLGM)
  • Power Tailgate Module (PTGM), Door Control Unit (DCU), and Side Door Drive (SDD) Electronic Control Units (ECUs) in C, C++ and Python programming languages using Git, Tortoise, Jenkins, Jira, Eclipse IDE, Visual Studio Code, WinIdea (debugger), Total Commander, and Codebeamer tools, and NXP S32K hardware
  • Perform automotive embedded ECU software development according to Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination (ASPICE), and Motor Industry Software Reliability Association (MISRA) C, MISRA C++
  • International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 26262 Road vehicles - Functional safety, and ISO 14229 Road Vehicles
  • Unified Diagnostics Services (UDS) standards. Test in vehicle released vehicle software features including Open/Close Operation, Obstacle Detection, User Requests, Anti-trap, and Power Mode, using Vector CANoe, CANape, and CANalyzer tools
  • Verify functionality on test bench and in vehicle at Function, Controller and System levels prior to production release


Your Profile

  • Bachelor, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related
  • Twelve months' experience as Engineer or related, developing, integrating, and validating OEM passenger vehicle embedded Electronic Control Unit (ECU), in C and C++ programming languages, using Tortoise and Visual Studio Code tools, or related
