This position involves participating in the development, modification, integration, and testing of aircraft landing systems manufacturing facilities and equipment. As part of this role, you will be responsible for electrical analysis and characterization, schematic design, power budgets, and part specification and selection, as well as facilities design and power distribution setup.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for electrical analysis and characterization, schematic design, power budgets, and part specification and selection, as well as facilities design and power distribution setup.
Responsibilities Also Include:
- Established and productive professional contributor working under limited supervision to design, analyze, integrate, test, and document electrical hardware of moderate complexity.
- Lead smaller scale design efforts and teams, to include mentoring of junior engineers.
- Contribute to hardware engineering requirements capture, analysis and creation for medium complexity components of electrical designs.
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines (e.g., Mechanical, Software and Systems Engineering) to ensure that electrical design is appropriate for the project/product design approach.
- Lead cross-functional team efforts in integration and test of completed designs and sub-systems.
- Understand and utilize the appropriate processes and tools during development of hardware. Develop and improve processes and tools where applicable.
- Use independent judgment to make decisions in day-to-day job responsibilities.
- Report status relating to technical performance, cost, and schedule for assigned scope of work.
- Provide data and presentation material for customer reviews and meetings. Present as needed.
- The work associated with this position will be performed onsite.
Work Experience
- Strong AutoCAD skills are required and REVIT experience is highly preferred for this position.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to quality service and engineering for internal/external clients are expected.
- BSEE or BSAE (with electrical specialty) from an ABET accredited engineering program, an EI or PE license, and experience in the engineering and design of electrical (power, lighting, and communications) systems for commercial & governmental facilities.
- Candidates must have basic knowledge of applicable codes and general engineering practices.
- Experience with electrical analysis & characterization, AC & DC power budgets, and part specification.
- Proficient utilizing MS Office Applications / Office 365
