About the Opportunity:
An established multi-discipline engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. This role offers exceptional leadership growth and technical expertise development while working on industrial projects across chemical, manufacturing, and energy sectors. The ideal candidate will drive client engagement, proposal development, and execution of electrical engineering activities across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design low/medium/high voltage electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, MCCs, lighting, grounding, and cabling.
- Perform electrical calculations (short circuit, load studies, arc flash, etc.).
- Prepare engineering deliverables (specifications, schematics, load studies, layouts, grounding plans, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with multi-discipline engineering teams to execute projects efficiently.
- Define project scope, execution plans, manpower estimates, and schedules.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4+ years of electrical engineering experience in chemical, manufacturing, or industrial markets
- Strong proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., SKM, Excel)
- Experience managing projects & coordinating with multi-discipline teams
- FL P.E. License with NCEES record required (EITs with 4+ years' experience will be considered)
- Knowledge of process controls and instrumentation (preferred)
- TWIC Card (preferred)
