Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Selectek is looking for an Electrical Engineer capable of leading a group of designers and drafters as a subject matter exporter in design/build commercial electrical construction design.

Required:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Working experience with California codes and standards preferred
• FE/PE preferred
• Proficient use of Autodesk Revit and CAD
• Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Review project criteria and requirements
• Perform complete construction documents, including drawings and specifications
• Coordination and collaboration with trade partners and team members
• Direct and review design through the plan check and construction phases
• Technical resource to team members
• Electrical design including but not limited to power distribution, branch power, branch lighting, lighting controls (commercial construction)
• Perform engineering calculations
• Prepare Title 24 compliance forms
• Responsibly to meet applicable codes and customer requirements
• Responsible for design coordination with the project manager so that design documents meet project scope requirements
• Attend meetings - architect, MEP, GC, project manager, and owner's SME coordination
• Coordinate with BIM department

Pay Range: $66.10/hour - $96.15/hour ($125,000 - $200,000 annual salary)
Pay method when direct: Salary
Term of assignment: 6 months contract to direct
Location of Job: Sacramento, CA
WFH: possible down the road
Remote: No
Hours & Shift: Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
Overtime: Some on occasion
Travel: None
Work Attire: Business casual
