We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will manage and maintain electrical scope of work documents, oversee third-party engineering firms, and specify and design electrical systems. The role requires strong coordination and project management skills to ensure successful completion of electrical installations and related projects.
Responsibilities
This position requires working 100% in person. You will be part of a small but respected firm in the ethanol industry.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will manage and maintain electrical scope of work documents, oversee third-party engineering firms, and specify and design electrical systems. The role requires strong coordination and project management skills to ensure successful completion of electrical installations and related projects.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage electrical scope of work documents for third-party engineering firms.
- Ensure clear definition of engineering deliverables for clients and project managers.
- Oversee and coordinate efforts of third-party electrical engineers, automation groups, and electrical subcontractors.
- Specify and design electrical systems and components for facilities and related installations.
- Estimate electrical project costs and update pricing on electrical equipment in the database.
- Create and manage Requests for Proposal (RFP) for third-party electrical engineers, automation subcontractors, and electrical subcontractors.
- Manage subcontractor relationships and review documents generated by third-party electrical engineers.
- Provide motor lists and assist in generating general arrangement drawings for electrical layouts.
- Generate instrument lists and specify and order instrumentation.
- Assist electrical subcontractors in creating redline drawings of construction drawings to produce as-built drawings.
- Review documents generated by automation engineers and manage subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Electrical engineering experience
- Knowledge of motors, power, control panels, and estimating
- Experience in electrical design
- Proficiency in using Sage software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with document tracking databases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to maintain accurate records
