Responsibility:
- Lead the design and development of circuit card assemblies and electronic systems
- Manage the specification and control of the Printed Circuit Board artwork process and Printed Wiring Board fabrication
- Integrate the engineering functions of Electronic Design, PWB layout, and Component Engineering in the efficient development of the companies products
- Support programs in a matrix organization structure
- Direct and coordinate all activities necessary to complete a major electrical engineering project or several small projects
- Support the definition and implementation of processes and tools for the improvement of our products
- Provide technical support as required by customers or other departments
Technical Direction:
- Monitor and recommend application of the latest technologies (State of the Art) in process, components, and design technology
- Technical expert and/or "Principal Investigator"
- Lead peer reviews for technical development
- Responsible for proper review and release of Electrical drawings and documents
- Participate in CCA's troubleshooting and RCCAs as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years industry experience
- Experience designing high speed, mixed-signal PCBA
- Experience with high speed differential interfaces: MIPI CSI 2, LVDS, LVPECL
- Design and layout of DDR3/4
- Serial data interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART
- DC/DC switching power supply design (low noise, isolation from sensitive circuits)
- Ability to write firmware to validate hardware design
Requirements:
- 10 years in Electronic Engineering and a minimum of 3+ years of lead/management
- Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US
