General responsibilities:

• Represent client during fabrication of the electrical systems on the Turbine Foundations, including but not limited to LV systems, Earthing system, Array Cables Support, Measurements and SCADA/Radio systems. Supervise contractor to ensure successful fabrication and assembly of the Turbine Foundations on time and within the required Quality standards and HSE regulations.
• Ensures that free-issued equipment and components are installed, handled, and maintained in accordance with the project and vendor requirements.
• Supervise commissioning/testing of electrical systems.
• Advice and support to the Foundation Fabrication Manager.
• Ensure that Contractor is in line with agreed design and to required spec/quality.
• Keep and maintain a safe work environment within the team and the contractors/sub-contractors on site according to HSE guidelines and local procedures.
• Support of all relevant interfaces between Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Contractors QA/QC Representatives.
• Electrical Supervisor reports to the Fabrication Manager.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years experience as Electrical Fabrication Supervisor
• According to the specific function requirements (Responsibilities and main tasks).
• Electrical Engineering degree
• Site experience on fabrication yards, pre-assembly, or construction sites
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Does not need experience on wind turbines. (Not mandatory)
• GWO courses for onshore fabrication: None
• Working at heights between 10 - 30 feet.
• Need to be physically fit. The job requires a lot of walking (at least 10,000 steps a day) and climbing ladders.
