OVERALL FUNCTION:

Reporting to the NPI and Test Engineering Manager, the Electrical Manufacturing Engineer will Collaborate and work with manufacturing and quality engineers to de-risk the manufacturing process, drive root cause analysis, issue reliability reports, and implement necessary corrective actions.This role is a full time, exempt position earning $113K - $190K annually.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage major aspects of manufacturing projects and be responsible for deliverables on the timescale agreed upon with the group manager.
  • Create solutions on how to continuously improve the reliability of the build processes of existing and newly developed products.
  • Provide DFM (Design for Manufacturability) input to design team for process and yield improvements.
  • Support diversification of supply and price reduction efforts by qualifying existing products with alternative suppliers.
  • Interface with Contract Manufacturers workflow, including Work Instructions and Manufacturing guidelines.
  • Develop processes and procedures to discover the criteria required to achieve statistical confidence that the products will perform to expectations.
  • Record all Failure Analysis and testing data in data management system.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • BS or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the industry.
  • Experience developing manufacturing jigs/fixture.
  • Hands on software experience with EPDM, Solidworks Simulation (statics), Solidworks Flow Simulation, Oracle Agile, MATLAB, AutoCAD 2D .
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with specific ability to translate complex technical information into an organized and presentable manner.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Must be open to learning by proactively seeking new ideas and improvements.
  • Knowledge of audio signal processing, acoustics, sound production, and recording a plus.
