POSITION: Electrical Process Engineer
SALARY: (depending on exp) + Bonus + Benefits
LOCATION: Vaughan, ON
STATUS: Permanent Full Time Position
INDUSTRY: Automotive manufacturers
SCOPE:
To drive continuous improvement in the company product design, assembly and manufacturing processes and procedures;
o support cross functionally all the electronic product.
o support maintenance, upkeep and improvement of the EOL testers of the e-products
o define the specification of the EOL test equipment gathering the information from the RD Department
o establish budget for improvement and for introduction of new equipment
o support PFMEA evaluation
o addressing which failures could be detected by EOL
o will work on reverse PFMEA
o Will be involved in all the electrical production processes like welding, soldering, AOI
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum college Diploma or University degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the electrical engineering
Thorough knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (Production) principles, APQP, IATF16949, PPAP including process control Systems, Problem-solving techniques (8D) and Methodologies.
Good understanding of the functions of Powertrain components.
Must have good knowledge of electrical test equipment, Oscilloscope and measuring tools
Understanding of PLC systems and software
Must have knowledge of the functionality of power electronics, PCba and micro controllers.
Must read electrical drawings and understand electrical specification.
