Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical projects within the commercial sector. The ideal candidate will coordinate all activities related to electrical installations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management strategies.
- Supervise the electrical installation process, ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with MEP teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and plumbing components.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including estimating costs and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any issues or changes required.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the electrical or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations.
- Familiarity with MEP systems and fire protection requirements.
- Experience with estimating costs and managing project budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
