Electrical Project Manager

We're a leading electrical contractor and engineering firm, specializing in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for commercial and industrial clients in the Carolinas. We are looking for a Electrical PM to come join our team!

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of electrical projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Track project performance and financial metrics
• Manage and coordinate vendor relations and negotiations
• Implement change order management processes
• Ensure compliance with best practices, policies, and procedures
• Facilitate communication between project teams and clients
• Conduct regular site visits and manage project superintendents
• Train, mentor, and develop project team members
• Identify scope gaps and manage project constraints
• Prepare project forecasts and conduct cost analysis
• Utilize project management software to track progress and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Project Management, or related field
• Proven experience in managing electrical projects and project teams
• Strong understanding of project financial performance indicators
• Familiarity with MS Office, MS Project, Autodesk, ConEST, and Spectrum
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-resolution skills
• Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting in a project management context
• Knowledge of electrical installation processes and construction practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
• Demonstrated experience in customer relationship management and satisfaction
