Job Description

In this position the qualified candidate will primarily be responsible for the design and implementation of new ultrasound probe repair technologies. A typical project would involve reverse-engineering an OEM ultrasound probe and developing a comprehensive repair solution. This could include anything from the ultrasound array, handle plastics, lens & housings, mechanical articulation systems, printed circuit boards, cables, and system interface connectors. Most of the electrical and mechanical work is very small or micro scale technology.

A portion of the job would also include working with the operations technical team to support daily/weekly technical challenges or urgent customer needs.

The position demands both Mechanical and Electrical skill sets. While the job trends towards requiring more mechanical engineering skills, a qualified electrical engineer would also be considered.
