The Opportunity

We are looking for a Technical Engineer - Level III, to expand our product and parts offering through expert reverse engineering skills and innovative design of test procedures. If you thrive on technical challenges, love solving complex puzzles, and want to work where your engineering intuition is valued, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate schematics and other documentation necessary to aid in the repair of systems, components, and parts (reverse engineering)
  • Design, document, and build test fixtures
  • Define and document procedures for test fixtures and software
  • Create and maintain updated repair and operating procedures
  • Perform repair of customer units to meet internal quality standards and customer needs, including completion of required paperwork to document repairs
  • Assist other engineers and technicians with reverse engineering tasks and technical questions
  • Make recommendations as a subject matter expert regarding procedures, equipment and parts needs for operations, and the cost-effective use of resources
  • Collaborate with other departments and team members to optimize workflows and meet performance targets
  • Maintain our ISO 13485 compliance by following processes and relevant work instructions. You may be asked to create, review, and update work instructions related to your role to support clear and streamlined workflows


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities you'll need for this opportunity:
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, with 10+ years of work experience, (Master's Degree with 4+ years of experience is preferred)
  • Previous use of equipment such as VNA, spectrum Analyzer, oscilloscope, Hi-pot Tester, power supplies, and function generators.
  • Documented experience working with high voltage equipment, RF circuits, and switching power supplies
  • Experience with reverse engineering and extracting software and firmware is a plus
  • Familiarity with FPGAs is a plus
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • ERP and CRM system knowledge and experience, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple high priority items at once
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle time-sensitive situations and provide after-hours support as required
  • Willingness to work within a defined quality management system and a passion for continuous improvement
