Salary - $75,000 - $96,600 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.

Bachelor's Degree in an applicable engineering field, computer science, an Engineer in Training (EIT) or a professional license is required. 1-3 years engineering experience is also required. Entry-level for MS Engineering.

About the position:
We're looking for an Electronics Design Engineer. This role supports new product design, development, and integration of electronic components and sub-systems for use on electric powered forklift trucks. You will:
- Apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in the field of Electrical Engineering.
- Partners with electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and software counterparts on system design and integration.
- Derive and define component and system level functional requirements.
- Work with reliability engineering and supply partners to develop and qualify new systems and components.
- Design robust solutions using modern microcontrollers, microprocessors, power regulation circuits, analog and digital sensor elements, and wired and wireless communication systems (Wi-Fi, Cellular, Bluetooth, CAN, ISM, Ethernet, etc.).
- Participate and lead design reviews and product verification processes.
- Guide design and development of printed circuit boards from schematic entry to final PCA CAD layout.
- Define assembly bills of materials, defines component specifications, and processes ECOs.
- Ensure that system and component designs comply with company and industrial requirements (UL, CE, etc.).
- Perform initial circuit board bring-up and measure performance to verify adherence functional requirements.
- Travel (~5%) to other Raymond divisions, customers, and supply partners.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to communicate effectively and present technical material to diverse audience.
It would be great if you had:
- Engineering design experience.
- Previous co-op experience at Raymond.
- Experience and understanding of embedded software development and C / C++ programming languages.
- Experience with Altium PCB design tools.
