CACI is seeking an Electronics Exploitation (EE) Deployer.

The Opportunity:
  • An Electronics Exploitation Deployer will provide technical forensics and exploitation of electronic devices in support of DOD Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and other military organizations, in a forward level 2 exploitation lab and provide support to meet customer requirements.
  • The EE will serve in relation to the collection and handling of recovered electronics devices, ensuring that triage and forensic technical exploitation occurs in accordance with organizational requirements.
  • As the Subject Matter Expert, the candidate must be able to work independently in isolated work environments.
  • The candidate will also execute reach-back and coordination with CONUS-based engineering staff, as needed.
  • The candidate will be expected to generate forensics reporting from technical exploitation generated products and will respond to any associated analytical requirements.
  • While deployed, your responsibilities include maintenance of all assigned equipment, as well as provide broad mission support, training, briefings, employing and fielding of the candidate's capability to include electrical forensics applications, tools, and systems.
  • This position will require OCONUS deployment, after requisite mission and technical orientation and training, to the CENTCOM and AFRICOM AORs.
  • The candidate will be available and willing to deploy to OCONUS for up to 6 months rotations.


Responsibilities:
  • Deploy to dynamic overseas locations, where you'll face exciting challenges and contribute to critical intelligence communities.
  • Conduct electronic analysis of target devices, including functional analysis of the target devices, understand and describe how the target device functions from an electronic perspective - basic signaling characteristics; voltage levels; electrical connections; electrical modifications to commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware; logic states; operating frequencies.
  • Publish reports and briefings in order to present characterization information, electronics vulnerabilities, and exploitation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with highly skilled engineers and SMEs to respond to RFI's and determine best consolidated solutions to problems.
  • Research emerging technologies and techniques.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Active Top-Secret clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • BA/BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience OR associate degree and 5 years of experience OR High School diploma and 6 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in design and interpretation of electronic schematics.
  • Proficiency in identification of electronic components and their functions, with a particular emphasis on complete characterization of electronic circuits.
  • Proficiency in using benchtop equipment including Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and other equipment.
  • An understanding of RF communications.
  • Perform standard RF measurements (e.g. occupied bandwidth, average power, pulse width) using the previous listed test equipment.


Desired:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of IED techniques, tactics and procedures (TTP).
  • Experience working with military organizations, such as Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) units.
  • Experience doing CELLEX, DOMEX, MEDEX forensics.
  • Experience with UAS electronics.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$75,200 - 158,100 USD
