Salary: $67,032 - $134,596 per year (2024/25 SVEA Salary Schedule *2025/26 TBD). Salary range based on 1.0 FTE.
As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments for all students, the Snoqualmie Valley School District is adding a full-time Assistant Principal or Elementary Dean of Students at each elementary school. This increased support is designed to strengthen the behavioral, social-emotional, and safety supports available to students and staff, while also expanding the building principal's capacity to serve as an instructional leader.
The Elementary Dean of Students will play a critical leadership role in promoting positive student behavior, proactive attendance support, and a strong school culture rooted in belonging, accountability, and equity. This position works closely with school staff to implement and refine school wide behavior systems, lead the behavioral aspect of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and provide direct intervention for students demonstrating escalating or unsafe behaviors.

- Insurance: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, basic life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance provided the assignment is anticipated to work at least 630 hours per year.*

- Paid Holidays: This position is not eligible for paid holidays.
- Paid Time Off: Certificated employees receive 12 sick days and 2 discretionary personal leave days each school year. Sick leave and discretionary personal leave days are based on scheduled hours and position start date.
