EMBEDDED HARDWARE ENGINEER

As an Embedded Hardware Engineer, you will help develop complex solutions that power real-time aerospace systems. Your contributions will directly impact product performance and reliability. What you'll do:
Design and develop PCB schematics and layouts to IPC class 3 standards for aerospace applications.
Conduct hardware system integration and testing to ensure system performance and durability.
Participate in quality management, aligning with ISO 9001 and SAE AS9100.
Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to integrate hardware into complex systems.
Essential Job Functions:
Iterate on, overhaul, and originate PCB schematics and layouts.
Research sensing technologies for testing and implementation in Pegasus equipment.
Collaborate with firmware engineers to optimize hardware-software interaction.
Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues, proposing innovative solutions.
Document design and testing processes for regulatory and quality assurance purposes.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in PCB and electronic system design utilizing EDA/ECAD tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, etc.).
Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals such as frequency response, signal processing, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with quality assurance standards and testing methodologies (e.g. ISO 9001, SAE AS9100).
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with electronic circuit simulation tools (e.g. SPICE).
Experience in designing hardware for compliance with aerospace industry standards (e.g., RTCA DO-254).
Familiarity with non-standard and rigid-flex stackups.
Expertise designing to meet IPC class 3 standards.
