Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Embedded Software Engineer to join our team and work on our product platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate with other engineers and disciplines to develop and integrate software and hardware into complex avionics equipment. You will be responsible for writing code in C and some assembly code for lower-level or performance-critical functions. Additionally, you will assess reusability, maintainability, and efficiency of software across product lines. You will also be responsible for developing low-level software requirements and design documentation in accordance with DO-178B/C guidelines. You will leverage your expertise to contribute to technical approaches for software and product design in compliance with FAA guidelines or established processes.

Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate software and hardware into complex avionics equipment.
- Write code in C and some assembly code for lower-level or performance-critical functions.
- Assess reusability, maintainability, and efficiency of software across product lines.
- Develop low-level software requirements and design documentation in accordance with DO-178B/C guidelines.
- Provide input on technical approaches for software/product design in compliance with FAA guidelines or established processes.
Essential Skills
- Embedded systems knowledge
- Experience with ARM processor-based systems
- Proficiency in writing C source code
- Ability to read and understand assembly language
Preferred, but not required, Skills & Qualifications
- DO-178 B/C, FAA, or Aviation
- Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems (e.g., VxWorks)
- Linux experience
- Board-level programming knowledge (e.g., u-boot)
- Knowledge of interfaces such as SPI, 422, 485, I2C, USB, Ethernet, RGB, LVDS, MIPI
Pay and Benefits
