Description:
University of Pittsburgh Physicians seeks Emergency Medicine Physicians (Multiple openings) in Allegheny County, Lawrence County, Mercer County, Butler County, Somerset County, Washington County, and Greene County, PA to treat patients in the Emergency Room to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, effectively providing immediate treatment of any medical or surgical emergency. Initiate lifesaving procedures in all types of emergency situations. Provide emergency care for chronic medical conditions and minor illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages. Work as part of a team with providers and other members of the emergency staff.
Job Responsibilities:
Treat patients in the Emergency Room to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, effectively providing immediate treatment of any medical or surgical emergency;
Initiate lifesaving procedures in all types of emergency situations;
Provide emergency care for chronic medical conditions and minor illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages;
Work as part of a team with providers and other members of the emergency staff.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (M.D.), or equivalent;
Completion of 3 years of postgraduate residency training in Emergency Medicine;
Must hold a valid PA medical license or eligibility.
