Job Responsibilities
The Employee and Labor Relations (ELR) Systems Analyst is highly involved in utilizing technology and data to manage the ELR cases for the team including workplace investigations, labor grievances and Loudermill hearings. The ELR Team is currently comprised of an ELR Manger, two ELR Strategic Advisors, two Labor Relations Coordinators and an ELR Systems Analyst. Under general direction from the ELR Manager, the ELR Systems Analyst primary duties include:

Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in systems, operational, procedures, research or analysis.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, finance, computer science or a related field.
Education and Experience Equivalency: Combinations of appropriate education, training, certification, and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis for comparability to the minimum education and experience requirements.

Job Responsibilities
The Employee and Labor Relations (ELR) Systems Analyst is highly involved in utilizing technology and data to manage the ELR cases for the team including workplace investigations, labor grievances and Loudermill hearings. The ELR Team is currently comprised of an ELR Manger, two ELR Strategic Advisors, two Labor Relations Coordinators and an ELR Systems Analyst. Under general direction from the ELR Manager, the ELR Systems Analyst primary duties include:
- Employee Relations Intake Support: process Employee Relations intakes, maintain case management system (LaborSoft), and monitor cases through completion.
- Design, develop and maintain ELR intake ticketing system with City applications.
- Maintain discipline and grievance tracking data in the case management systems.
- Case Management Administrator: build and maintain modules within the case management system.
- Special Projects: works as a project manager for special projects such as monitoring the Commercial Driver's License program, working with Seattle Human Resources Labor Relations and/or City Attorney's Office on Utility wide initiatives.
- Support the ELR team by fulfilling requests for information (RFI).
- Help to build healthy relationships and assist in creating and enforcing policies that are fair, consistent and equitable for everyone in the workplace.
